Miami, Florida, March 19, 2025 – Dogecoin Racing, launched by House of Doge and the Dogecoin Foundation, joins NTT INDYCAR SERIES driver Devlin DeFrancesco and Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing to bring Dogecoin to the iconic motorsport event, the Indy 500, while supporting a meaningful cause for the team.

The Indianapolis 500, known as The Greatest Spectacle in Racing, returns for its 109th edition on Memorial Day weekend, May 25. This year will feature a historic partnership with the Dogecoin race car taking center stage, allowing fans to vote on the design of DeFrancesco's car featuring Dogecoin's iconic Shiba Inu.

DeFrancesco was born 15 weeks premature, weighing just one pound, facing medical challenges from the start. Now, as a professional driver, he is using his platform to help children with chronic illnesses.

As part of this collaboration, DeFrancesco, a dog lover and Dogecoin fan, will personally donate $25,000 in Dogecoin to Riley Children’s Foundation in Indianapolis, aligned with Riley Children’s Health, a leading pediatric care center.

Additionally, this motorsport milestone is further highlighted by DeFrancesco's decision to receive $100,000 of his salary in Dogecoin, marking a significant step in cryptocurrency adoption in professional sports.

To celebrate this historic moment, House of Doge, the Dogecoin Foundation, and Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing have launched a fan-driven contest, allowing the Dogecoin community to select the official race car and helmet design that DeFrancesco will use at the Indy 500.

From March 19 to March 25, fans can vote for their favorite design and enter to win a Dogecoin wallet with $1,000. There are three potential versions of the Dogecoin Honda No. 30:

? Blaze – A fiery design, described as forged in the volcanic fires of Kilauea, leaving only smoke and ashes.

? Turbowave – Inspired by the 1980s, with a retro aesthetic accompanied by neon lights and a Miami Vice vibe.

? BananaBoost – As fast and slippery as a banana peel, ensuring an edge over the competition.

As part of the alliance, organizers are also encouraging the Dogecoin community to make donations. The largest donor by race day will receive an exclusive Indy 500 helmet used and signed by DeFrancesco during his qualifying session.

The funds raised will directly benefit Riley Children’s Foundation, which provides emergency and specialized medical care to newborns and children with critical conditions.
