DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, March 20, 2025 – The lawsuits filed in the High Court of the United Kingdom against the co-founders of BE Club in connection with OneCoin have been withdrawn in their entirety by mutual agreement. All accusations were dismissed without any financial settlement, and the worldwide asset freezing order was lifted.
The resolution of the case (CL-2024-000213), published on January 25, 2025, occurred after the Islam brothers presented compelling evidence that completely refuted the accusations against them. Notably, the plaintiffs have agreed to contribute to the legal costs incurred by the brothers.
Moyn and Monir Islam were small-scale investors in the United Kingdom who also suffered financial losses from the OneCoin scheme. They played no operational role within the fraudulent organization and attempted to alert others when they began to suspect its legitimacy.
For years, misinformation about OneCoin has affected my reputation, including accusations of dishonesty, fraud, and having fled the United Kingdom. This resolution proves that we have told the truth. We have been unfairly attacked, and this is a fundamental step in clarifying the facts, said Moyn Islam.
The brothers' subsequent businesses, including Melius, which later became BE Club, have been subject to misrepresentations.
The resolution includes the lifting of the previously imposed worldwide asset freezing order against the brothers and establishes a binding agreement preventing any future claims related to OneCoin against them by these plaintiffs.
This outcome allows the entrepreneurs to fully focus on their current projects without the shadow of unfounded accusations.
Jennifer McAdam, a key member of the steering committee of the plaintiff group, has published official statements on social media confirming the withdrawal of the lawsuits.
The brothers were represented by law firms that have issued statements regarding the resolution of the case.
OneCoin began in 2014, capitalizing on the initial enthusiasm for cryptocurrencies to attract large-scale investors, leading to estimated losses of $4 billion.
By 2016, nearly 1.6 million people had already joined the scheme.
During that period, the Islam brothers also joined, believing they were supporting a system that already had significant global backing under promises of financial success.
The events surrounding OneCoin remain a topic of global discussion among regulators, financial analysts, and investors.
