Within an ideal online marketing system, the second strategy (probably the most difficult) that we need to carry out is converting part of the traffic that arrives into customers, which we also call CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization). That traffic has arrived mainly through 3 tactics: SEO, SEM and Content Marketing. Many of the factors we use in SEO, such as earning the trust of search engines, using a good structure on the site, using correct language, etc., are used in this second strategy “Conversion of visits to customers”. If SEO serves to optimize our site in order to please search engines, conversion optimization is the one that has to do with pleasing the user. 1. Graphic design ¿What makes a user trust one site and flee from another?, what exactly goes through our head when landing on a site?. Most people do not consciously focus on Web design, but there is no doubt about the importance it has when it comes to gaining or losing the trust of a visitor. Really, your website (whether an e-commerce of products or services) is like a commercial building: if you enter, you like it, it is well designed and seems orderly, you will have more confidence when making a transaction. People who arrive at websites with poor designs, not only flee from them because they are not pretty, but because sites with a poor design imply that the company behind them has little experience or is unprofessional. 2. Differentiation After achieving an organized and clear design, we should keep in mind what we are going to say in that design that manages to differentiate us from our competition. ¿What is our Unique Value Proposition? One of the main aspects of our product is usually differentiation in the form of price. We can have a competitive advantage over the rest or several, we just need to show it. Product, in the form of payment, languages, etc 3. Information We have already talked about design and differentiation. It is the turn to provide more information to visitors. The user who returns to visit our website must clearly know: what we sell, how we work, what the price is/possibility of contact or who the team members are. In summary, let's provide customers with everything they need to know to commit 4. Offers We finally reach the last factor: offers. You should already have a good idea of what goes through the mind of your visitors when they arrive at a new site. They make a quick judgment based on the appearance of your site (design), followed by a quick decision about whether to stay or not (differentiation) and seek to answer a series of questions thanks to the content your site has (information). At this moment, your visitors are looking for a reason to buy and that reason is usually an irresistible offer. Thanks for visiting us!
