I have been writing for several years and since then I have developed a particular fondness for the em dash, a powerful tool used to connect two complete ideas within a single fluid and extended sentence. Unfortunately for me, this particular punctuation mark has become increasingly associated with Large Language Models like ChatGPT. Despite potential accusations of using artificial intelligence to cut corners in my writing or the risk of sounding like ChatGPT every time I write, I will never stop using it.
