Control supplier access and ensure security in global facilities
Amazon needed a tool capable of centrally managing work permits from third-party vendors at its facilities.
The challenge was to control the entire process before and after the entry of a supplier: application for the permit, validation of the company, assignment of operators, review of documentation, verification of security measures, approval of access, execution of the work and closure of the permit.
In addition, the solution had to be able to be used in different centers, both in Europe and in other global points, maintaining common criteria of security, traceability and compliance.
It was also necessary to facilitate work in the plant through tablets, allowing permissions to be reviewed, data to be recorded, access to be validated and digitally signed from the operating centre itself.
The objective was to build a robust, secure and scalable platform to control access, reduce risks and leave a complete record of each intervention carried out by suppliers.
