Connect industrial and safety systems that operated independently
COVERT SECURITY needed to develop solutions capable of communicating devices, cameras and industrial systems that did not always share the same technology, data structure or way of operating.
One of the main challenges was to connect different SCADA environments so that they could exchange information in a controlled and reliable way. It was also necessary to integrate cameras and other devices within applications capable of collecting data, interpreting events and transferring the information to the systems responsible for the operation.
The existence of independent platforms made it difficult to have a unified view and required manual checks or actions. Each integration had to be adapted to the specific characteristics of the equipment involved and maintain the stability of critical systems that were already in operation.
In addition, it sought to take advantage of artificial intelligence to analyze information, detect certain situations and automate repetitive tasks, reducing the operational burden and helping teams to react more quickly to relevant events.
